Oakland Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Posing As Federal Agent In Windsor Cash Scam
An Oakland man police arrested on suspicion of posing as a federal agent in a Windsor cash scam was scheduled to be arraigned today.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA β A man police said posed as a federal agent in a cash scam targeting Windsor residents was scheduled to appear in a Sonoma County court today.
Scammers posing as federal agents told victims that their bank accounts had been compromised and instructed them to withdraw cash, which a courier would be pick up for safekeeping, according to the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office.
Zhengning Chen, of Oakland, was arrested during a sting set up by the Sonoma County Sheriffs Office after he arrived to pick up cash from a would-be victim.

Zhengning is being held at the Sonoma County Detention Facility on $250,000 bail, according to Sheriff's Office records.
Authorities did not released details about the victims.
