A Rohnert Park man on parole for kidnapping was among two people arrested in a case involving a fraudulent check, police said.

ROHNERT PARK, CA — The Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety arrested a parolee Thursday on suspicion of check forgery and counterfeiting. The Public Safety Department received a complaint on May 31 by someone who said they received a fraudulent check from 56-year-old Rohnert Park resident Ernest Alfonso Reed, who is on parole for kidnapping.
Public Safety Officer Vincent Neuman contacted Reed's parole officer to confirm Reed's address on Heath Circle in Rohnert Park. Reed was found living in a trailer on the property with 44-year-old Danyell Bonds-Thrower, police said.
Officers searched the trailer and found items used to create fraudulent checks and credit cards, credit and debit cards, Social Security cards in other people's names, additional fraudulent checks and methamphetamine, the Public Safety Department said.
