Rohnert Park Massage Parlor Sting: Prostitution Alleged

Several complaints had been received regarding possible prostitution activities occurring at Lei Sure Massage on Redwood Drive.

ROHNERT PARK, CA -- A local massage parlor and one of its masseuses are in hot water after police busted her for prostitution, which resulted in the business having its license suspended.

On Jan. 11, Rohnert Park police detectives conducted a human trafficking operation with the stated goal being to rescue children and women who are victimized by being sexually exploited in the commercial sex trafficking trade. The operation targeted massage parlors where there have been complaints of prostitution activities, as well as females who were posting to provide prostitution services in the city via the internet.

During the operation, officers and detectives went to Lei Sure Massage on Redwood Dr. in Rohnert Park, a business that had received several complaints received regarding possible prostitution activities occurring. An undercover officer went into the business posing as a customer to see if he would be offered sex acts in addition to the massage.

After the undercover officer was offered a sex act by the masseuse for an additional charge, other officers entered the business and arrested the masseuse for solicitation for prostitution. The business permit for Lei Sure Massage was then temporarily suspended, meaning it had to cease operation pending a review by the city.
