Santa Rosa Woman Gets 30 Years For Attempted Murders At Nightclub
Jessica Garcia-Leos, 32, pleaded guilty in April to the 2015 attempted murders at the former El Rey nightclub.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA β A Santa Rosa woman was sentenced to 30 years and four months in prison Thursday for the attempted murder of her boyfriend, his ex-girlfriend and other patrons outside a nightclub in 2015, according to the Sonoma County District Attorney's Office.
Jessica Garcia-Leos, 32, pleaded guilty in April to the attempted murders, causing great bodily injury and having a prior strike conviction for a felony assault with a deadly weapon in 2005, prosecutors said.
Prosecutors said Garcia-Leos was inside the former El Rey nightclub on Sebastopol Road in unincorporated Sonoma County with her boyfriend on Nov. 14, 2015, when she physically attacked her boyfriend's ex-girlfriend.

Garcia-Leos than stabbed her boyfriend in the face with a broken beer bottle and drove away from the scene.
As the injured man and woman were standing outside the nightclub, Garcia-Leos returned and drove her vehicle into a crowd of people, injuring her boyfriend, his ex-girlfriend, two of her family members and a bartender, according to the district attorney's office.

Garcia-Leos was arrested after she crashed her vehicle on her way home.
Sonoma County District Attorney Jill Ravitch said the victims suffered significant injuries that require long-term care, and Garcia-Leos' "calculated act" deserves the 30 years and four months prison sentence.
