School District Gets New Website
Cotati-Rohnert Park Unified, in an attempt to be more transparent and communicate with parents, teachers and the community, has revamped its website. Tell us what you think below.

Superintendent Robert Haley, who of the school district last year following Barbara Vrankovich's retirement, has to make the district's website more useful to current and prospective families in the district.

The site features a more prominent calendar with important dates for the district's elementary, middle and high schools.
School board meetings are now archived so anyone can listen, and are usually posted the day after a meeting — — meaning more access to public meetings.

Also on the site is a complete, easy-to-use list of district employees, a link to district finances and featured headlines from news articles. The site boasts its slogan, "Learning for a lifetime," and features photos from different schools and community events.
And at a , community stakeholders said making the website more robust was key to helping the district promote special programs and boost district enrollment.
