Sebastopol Bank Robbery Suspect Sought By Police

BREAKING: Sebastopol police are asking anyone with information about the robbery at gunpoint to come forward.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — Police are seeking a man who allegedly robbed a Sebastopol bank Monday afternoon at gunpoint. The incident occurred just before 2 p.m. at the Exchange Bank at 720 Gravenstein Highway North, according to police. A caller told police that a man entered the bank, brandished a handgun and demanded money from a teller. The teller complied and the man fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

Officers searched for the suspect, but were unsuccessful.

He was described as a white man, between 20 and 30 years old, between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall, with light colored eyes and a skinny build. He wore a black hooded jacket with a decal on the front and black jeans.
