Sebastopol Woman Identified In Fatal Crash Into Wall
Authorities say the woman was driving at an unsafe speed in the crash on Bodega Highway at Watertrough Road.
SONOMA COUNTY, CA — The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office has identified a woman who died in a solo-vehicle crash near Sebastopol Friday evening as Kimberly Haynes Silva, 60, of Sebastopol.
Silva was driving a Mitsubishi Montero SUV at an unsafe speed east on Bodega Highway near Watertrough Road west of Sebastopol around 6 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Silva drove straight through a left-hand curve across Watertrough Road and struck a cinder block wall before hitting a sycamore tree in the yard of a residence, the CHP said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
