Shootings Near Sebastopol Investigated
Sonoma County sheriff's officials received reports about shots fired from a moving vehicle and found casings from a .45-caliber handgun.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA β Sonoma County sheriff's deputies are investigating two shootings in a rural area near Sebastopol Sunday afternoon that did not result in any injuries.
Deputies received calls of several shots fired from a moving vehicle at 4:35 p.m. in the area of Todd Road and Old Gravenstein Highway. A witness told deputies a brown car with three occupants was traveling south on Todd when several shots rung out.
Several other callers near the 6400 block of Lone Pine Road reported gunshots a short time later.

One witness told deputies a small, rusty-red four-door sedan with several occupants drove past her home and the driver held a gun out the window, pointed it in the air and fired multiple shots.
Nobody was injured and no structures were hit, deputies said, but casings from a .45-caliber handgun were found in the road.
