"Given the excitement about Sonoma State among those students and their counselors, I expect to have several AIMS students apply for Fall 2025 admission," said Ed Mills, Vice President for Strategic Enrollment Management.
AIMS College Prep focuses on closing the opportunity gap for socioeconomically disadvantaged students, which represent a majority of its student body. AIMS reports that 100 percent of its students are accepted into a four-year college and credits their STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Math) curriculum, emphasis on attendance, coverage of student AP exam and college application fees, and foundational support of staff and family as key factors in that success rate.
