SSU Engineering Visit Sparks Interest In San Rafael High School Students

ROHNERT PARK, CA — Sonoma State’s Engineering Department—in collaboration with the SSU Computer Science Department and Electrical Engineering Club—hosted 29 students from San Rafael High School. Kevin, their San Rafael STEM teacher, sent the following note of thanks:

"Thanks so much for hosting us! The students really enjoyed our visit and seeing what it's like to be an EE and CS major at SSU. Gilberto (Conejo) did a great job connecting with our students. Our students were given a feedback survey about the trip, and a few of the seniors responded that they plan to apply to SSU EE for next fall, and a few more responded maybe.
