Tech High Poised to Win $50K Grant
Technology High School, located on the Sonoma State University campus, is the only school in the running for the grant, according to the Press Democrat.

Technology High School is the only Sonoma County school nominated to win up to a $50,000 grant through the Clorox βPower a Bright Futureβ grant program, but they need daily votes from the community through Dec. 9. Β
After a competitive national nomination period, Tech High is asking the greater Sonoma County community to show its support by voting for this Rohnert Park school that wants to start a music program and jazz ensemble. Β

Adults and children 13 and older can visit PowerABrightFuture.com and search βjazzβ to find Tech High's nomination or just click here. People can also vote from your phone by texting clorox6939 to 44144 (message and data rates may apply). Β
The program that receives the highest number of votes will be awarded the $50,000 grand-prize grant, and the nominations that receive the top votes in the Play, Create and Explore categories will each be awarded a $25,000 grant.

Additionally, Cloroxβs judging panel, will select one more school to win a $25,000 βjudgeβs choiceβ grant. Β
Tech High can be one of only five schools nationwide to win a grant, and you can help push the school to the top.
