Teens With Warrants Arrested At Santa Rosa Hotel: Police
Police initially responded to a report of a person with a gun at Hyatt Regency Sonoma Wine Country hotel.

SANTA ROSA, CA β A 17-year-old male suspected of having a gun was arrested Monday afternoon at the Hyatt Regency Sonoma Wine Country hotel in Santa Rosa, a police sergeant said. Police responded to the Prince Memorial Greenway around 1:20 p.m. to a report by a passerby of a male with a red backpack who broke up a fight between two young males by pulling out what appeared to be a gun, Sgt. Jeneane Kucker said. The fight ended and the male with the backpack walked away.
Police arrived and found two adults and two males at the scene. A male who matched the description of the one with the gun ran west down the creek path and into the Hyatt Regency hotel at 170 Railroad St., where he
discarded the red backpack, Kucker said.
He was found hiding in an alcove and was taken into custody for outstanding warrants. The gun was not located at the scene, Kucker said.
