Tow Truck Driver Injured In Santa Rosa While Responding To Crash
The incident happened shortly after noon at Montgomery and Channel drives, Santa Rosa police said.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA β A tow truck driver was injured early this afternoon while hooking up a disabled vehicle in Santa Rosa, a police sergeant said. Police initially said the tow driver was injured when his truck rolled into him, but he was accidentally hurt while hooking up a disabled vehicle, Sgt. Dave Marconi said.
"It sounded worse than it was," Marconi said.
The incident happened near the Spring Lake Village retirement community at 5555 Montgomery Drive, Marconi said.

The driver was conscious and talking at the scene and he was taken to a hospital. His injuries are not life-threatening, Marconi said.
