What's Closed in Rohnert Park Over Memorial Day Weekend?
Plan ahead, as many government offices and banks shut down early for the holiday.
Memorial Day is Monday, May 28. In observance, many government offices and most banks will be closed, so get your business done today or tomorrow.
City Hall will close at 5 p.m. Friday and won't re-open till Tuesday at 8 a.m. The post office and banks, including Wells Fargo, Chase and Bank of America, will also be closed Monday.
Be sure to prepare for your weekend early — most places like grocery stores and restaurants operate under normal hours, however many other businesses will be closed Monday. Best bet is to get everything done by Friday just in case.

The California Highway Patrol is advising motorists to drive careful and not to drink and drive — they're beefing up enforcement for the entire weekend.
If you're taking Sonoma County Transit or Golden Gate Transit, be advised the public transportation lines are also running on holiday hours.
