What's Closed on Presidents Day

Get your business done this week — due to Presidents Day being a Federal Holiday, most government offices will be closed next Monday. That includes the U.S. Post Office, the Sonoma County Post Office and the DMV. Rohnert Park City Hall, the Department of Public Safety and other city offices will close as well, from Friday, Feb. 17 through Monday, Feb. 20.

Most banks, including Bank of America, Chase, Wells Fargo, Redwood Credit Union and Citibank will be closed. Be sure to check with your institution — as some banks will remain open.

Sonoma County Transit and Golden Gate Transit are both running on their holiday schedules. Check Sonoma County Transit stop times here. Golden Gate Transit here. Class is held for Santa Rosa Junior College and Sonoma State University. Cotati-Rohnert Park Unified is also holding regularly-scheduled classes.

All branches of the Sonoma County Library will close Saturday, Feb. 18 also in observance of Presidents Day. They'll reopen Tuesday.
