"Why We Moved to Rohnert Park"

A letter to the editor from Carmen Groditski:

In the past 18 years we had visited friends in Rohnert Park and liked the feeling of the community. 

After renting for 15 years in Marin County, we were able to purchase a home and were lucky to find a suitable property we love. We live three blocks from Sonoma State University and it truly feels like a college town, with all the young people traveling by bicycle.

While searching for a home, we visited properties in Petaluma and Rohnert Park and we just kept coming back to RP! We liked the home styles better. The only thing we miss is having a downtown area to congregate in. Hopefully something will happen to create one.
