• Coroner ID's man, woman killed in crash in Rosamond (kget.com) — Two people were killed in a Dec. 10 collision in the Rosamond area, and the Kern County Coroner has now identified them as 80-year-old Rosamond resident Richard Madril Diaz and 65-year-old passenger Maria De Jesus Zuniga Rivas. CHP says Diaz’s Honda and a Jeep collided at West Avenue A and 70th Street West, and impairment does not appear to be a factor.

• Has anyone else noticed an odd smell (fertilizer or putrid flesh) in the area of 60th & Rosamond Blvd, in the past few days ??
  The smell only occurs after about 6pm and dissipates by 9pm. I've noticed it near my mailbox on Rosamond Blvd. and closer to Astoria Ave. (Nextdoor Rosamond Town West)
