• CHP: At least 1 killed in two-vehicle crash in Rosamond area (bakersfieldnow.com) — A deadly two-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon in the Rosamond area shut down Avenue A between 60th and 80th Street West, after a Honda Pilot and dark-colored Jeep collided and trapped at least two people. CHP and Kern County Public Works report at least one person was killed, and the coroner will release the victim’s identity later. Expect lingering traffic impacts while officials investigate.
