A Dozen Catalytic Converters Stolen in Roseville

Various thefts happened around Roseville in December.

In the past few weeks, more than a dozen catalytic converters have been stolen from cars in Roseville, authorities say.

The thefts happened mostly in late December, according to the Roseville Police Department. Here are more details, from the Roseville Police Department:

  • Between 4 p.m. December 31 and 7 p.m. January 1, someone cut the catalytic converter off of a Toyota Tacoma pickup in an apartment complex at 800 Gibson Drive.
  • Between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. December 20, someone stole the catalytic converters off two Toyota Sequoia SUVs in the Park-n-Ride in the 1800 block of Taylor Road.
  • Between 11:15 a.m. and 1:10 p.m. December 20, someone stole the catalytic converter from a Toyota Sequoia SUV in the parking lot of the Galleria. On December 27 at about 6 p.m., someone attempted to remove the catalytic converter from a Toyota Sequoia SUV in the same general area, but was interrupted and fled before completely cutting the device off the vehicle. The suspect was a male passenger in a teal colored 1990s model Honda Civic, possibly a hatchback with a sunroof, driven by an Asian female. The male suspect fled on foot and the female drove away. Officers and security personnel checked the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.
  • Between 9:30 and 11 a.m. December 20, someone stole the catalytic converter from a Toyota Sequoia SUV parked in a lot in the 2200 block of Douglas Blvd.
  • Between 9:30 p.m. December 29 and 4 a.m. December 30, someone cut off the catalytic converter from a Toyota Tundra pickup in the 1300 block of Blossom Hill Way.
  • Between 4:30 and 8 p.m. December 16, someone stole the catalytic converter from a Toyota Tundra pickup in a parking lot in the 300 block of North Sunrise Ave.
  • Between 8:15 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. December 27, someone stole the catalytic converter from a Toyota Tundra pickup in the 3000 block of Lava Ridge Court. Between 2 and 5:30 p.m. the same day, someone stole the catalytic converter from a Toyota Sequoia SUV in a theater parking lot in the 1500 block of Eureka Road.
  • Between December 23-27, someone stole the catalytic converters from two Toyota Sequoia SUVs in a car dealer's lot in the 1000 block of Melody Lane.
  • Overnight December 24/25, someone stole the catalytic converter from a Toyota Tacoma pickup in the 1000 block of Cirby Oaks Way.
  • Between December 15 and December 17, someone stole the catalytic converter from a Toyota Tundra pickup in the 6300 block of Rose Garden Lane.
  • Between November 25 and December 20, someone sawed the catalytic converter off of a Toyota 4-Runner parked in the 2200 block of Trimstone Way.
  • Overnight December 15/16, someone stole the catalytic converter from a Toyota Sequoia in the 2600 block of Pipestone Loop, and from another Toyota Sequoia on Ranchland Court.
