Council to Discuss Downtown Roseville Plans

Roseville City Council meets tonight at 7 p.m.

Downtown Roseville plans are the topic of discussion at tonight’s Roseville City Council meeting.

Over the next three years, the city hopes to complete $37 million in projects in Downtown Roseville. Tonight, councilmembers will hear an update on the projects and will vote on the Downtown Specific Plan Public Improvement Projects.

Projects for the 2012 fiscal year include:

  • Town Square development
  • Vernon Streetscape enhancement
  • Additional parking for Historic Old Town
  • Construction and relocation of new Fire Station No. 1
  • New library bridge construction, relocation of the Icehouse Bridge, design of pedestrian bridge into Royer Park

Councilmembers will also hear presentations about homelessness issues in Roseville.
