Damaged Transformer Causes Power Outage
Some West Roseville residents were without power for a couple hours Saturday night, according to Roseville Electric.

More than 900 Roseville Electric customers were without power for up to 2½ hours late Saturday night (Sept. 24) after crews found a transformer that had been significantly damaged near Misty Wood Drive and Pleasant Grove Boulevard, according to Roseville Electric.
Roseville Electric crews responded immediately and were able to restore power to more than 400 customers within 80 minutes; the remaining customers were without electricity longer as electricity was rerouted. As of Sunday morning, crews were working to repair damaged equipment.
The outage affected customers in an area bordered by Pleasant Grove, Junction, Woodcreek and Foothills boulevards.
