Holiday Ice Rink Coming Soon to Westfield Galleria at Roseville
Promenade On Ice opens Nov. 5 in Roseville with a grand opening celebration with Olympian Brian Boitano.

Soon you’ll be able to skate while you shop. OK, maybe not literally while you shop, but in the middle of your holiday shopping at the , you’ll be able to take a break by ice-skating.
A new outdoor ice rink opens Nov. 5 for the holidays in Roseville. Promenade On Ice will be setting up the 36-foot by 82-foot rink in the shopping center’s restaurant promenade this weekend, Oct. 29, according to Azumi Williams with Promenade On Ice. A soft opening will be held Nov. 2, when the rink will be ready for public skating. Nov. 5 is when the official celebration begins with a visit from Olympic champion Brian Boitano.
The rink will accommodate about 115 skaters at a time, Williams said, and will be open through Jan. 16, 2012.

A new feature launching this year is a rentable Skating Aid Bobby – this comes in the shape of seal and allows kids under age 12 to either grab on Bobby’s tail while skating or sit on its back while being pushed by a parent.
Williams said they hope to make this an annual holiday tradition in Roseville.
