Man Arrested on Suspicion of Trying to Lure Child into His Car
Roseville Police are not sure if this arrest is linked to other similar incidents of a man offering rides to children near Roseville schools.
Friday morning, Sept. 30, the Roseville Police Department arrested a man suspected of trying to lure a child into his white van.

About 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29 Roseville officers responded to on Trehowell Drive, to a report that a man had tried to lure a child into his van.

The man’s name has not been released because of the ongoing investigation, officials said.
Officers were unable to locate the suspect at that time, but broadcast a description to neighboring law enforcement agencies. With the assistance of neighboring agencies, a suspect was identified and officers developed probable cause to make an arrest. Roseville officers took him into custody Friday morning without incident.
