Here's a look at the vehicle-related crime in Roseville between April 2-8:

Sometime overnight April 2/3, someone went into a Honda Civic parked in the 200 block of Ardmore Avenue, and took several valuable items, including a portable GPS, an iPod and binoculars. It's unknown how the burglar got into the locked car.

Between 12:05 and 7:30 a.m. on April 3, someone went into an unlocked Toyota 4-Runner parked in the 1600 block of Citadella Drive, and took an iPod, gym clothes, music CDs and other small items.

Overnight on April 3/4, someone went into a car parked in a carport in the 200 block of Breuner Drive, and took and took snowboarding equipment and credit cards.  The stolen credit cards were soon used to make purchases in Sacramento. It's unknown how the thieves got into the vehicle.

Between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on April 4, someone went into an unlocked vehicle parked in the 200 block of Harding Boulevard, and took a wallet containing several credit cards, a checkbook and other valuable documents from the center console.

At about 3 p.m. on April 4, someone stole a commercial lawn mower from an open landscaper's trailer parked in the 300 block of Zola Avenue.  A witness saw a male in his 20s take the mower and drive away in a gray van.

Between 7 p.m. April 4 and 8 a.m. April 5, someone stole a white Saturn SUV from the 900 block of Keith Drive. The Citrus Heights Police Department found it on April 6, undamaged and unoccupied.

Overnight on April 4/5, someone vandalized a vehicle parked in the 300 block of Ivy Street.  The damages included a slashed tire, a damaged side mirror and a bent license plate frame.

Between 7 and 8 p.m. on April 5, someone broke the window of a car parked in the 500 block of North Sunrise and took an iPod.

Overnight on April 5/6, someone stole a burgundy 1996 Dodge Ram pickup with a lumber rack on the back from the 1200 block of Melody Lane, and smashed a window and tampered with the ignition of a 2001 Ford pickup parked in the 1000 block of Melody Lane.   The Dodge pickup is still missing.

Overnight on April 5/6, someone broke a window of a Dodge Neon sedan parked in the 100 block of Earl Avenue. Nothing was taken.

Overnight on April 5/6, someone splashed red paint on a vehicle parked in the 200 block of Tahoe Avenue.

Between 11 p.m. April 6 and 12:20 a.m. April 7, someone smashed the window of a car parked at a fitness center in the 300 block of North Sunrise, and rummaged through the car.  Fortunately the vehicle owner had taken her purse into the fitness center with her, and although her vehicle was damaged, the thieves didn't find anything of value to steal.

At about 2:30 a.m. on April 8, someone used a rock to break the window of a vehicle parked in a parking lot in the 100 block of North Sunrise Avenue, and took a duffle bag containing baseball equipment. A witness described the burglar as a white male adult in his 30s, 6'4" tall with dark-colored hair, wearing prescription eyeglasses.  The suspect left in a gold-colored, approximately 10-year-old Mercedes or Lexus sedan. The witness didn't realize the suspect was stealing items from the vehicle until the suspect drove away, and the witnesses noticed the broken window in the victim's vehicle.

Between 4 and 8 a.m. on April 8, someone dented and scratched the paint of a car parked in the 1100 block of Church Street.
