Nov. 4: Sierra College Job Fair, Anthropologie Holiday Display Workshop
You could land a job today at a job fair at the Rocklin Sierra College campus.
Today in Roseville, there’s a job fair, a workshop on holiday displays and a portion of a city trail will be closed through the weekend.
Sierra College Job Fair – If you’re in need of a job, you’re in luck – Sierra College is holding a job fair today. Get that resume ready, press your pants and meet potential employers from 1-4 p.m. at the Rocklin Campus Center, 5000 Rocklin Road. (OK so this isn't in Roseville, but lots of residents can take advantage of this). If you come early, at 12:30 p.m. there will be a panel presentation of what employers want. Anthropologie Holiday Display Workshop – Ever wonder how does those cool display windows? Well, today you can find out. The shop, located at the Fountains at Roseville, is holding a workshop on creating its holiday displays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information or to RSVP, call the store at 916-789-9100.

Trail Closure – Starting this evening, a portion of the Antelope Creek Trail will be temporarily closed to the public because of the Maya Archers 2011 annual Stickbow Classic, according to the City of Roseville. The trail from Antelope Creek Drive to Galleria Boulevard will be closed until the morning of Monday, Nov. 7; the rest of the trail will be open. A map of the closure is available here.
