A quick look into what's going on in Roseville today, plus a bit of news outside of the city.

Lots of Roseville students and volunteers will be doing some running and walking today for the middle school cross-country finals and a Business Walk.

Business Walk – If you’re a business owner in Roseville or Granite Bay, you might get a visit from Roseville Chamber volunteers today asking you how your business is doing. Today, from 10 a.m. to noon, volunteers will walk to roughly 500 local businesses to get a feel for how the business community is doing and what can be done to improve. Cross-Country Finals – Area middle school cross-country runners will compete in finals this afternoon. Anyone is open to come and watch as the top seven runners from each of the 13 schools will race starting at 4 p.m. at William Jessup University, 333 Sunset Blvd. in Rocklin. Senior Health Fair – Today at the Gold Country Fairgrounds in Auburn, there will be a Senior Health Fair. The even runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Sutter Roseville Comprehensive Cancer Clinic will be there offering breast self-exam instructions and have a breast cancer awareness booth. The fair will be held in the Placer Building at the fairgrounds,1273 High St. in Auburn.
