Oct. 13: Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre, Synchronized Swimming Record

We have a few fun ways to fill up your Thursday: a murder mystery dinner at Oakmont High School, an attempt to break a world record and a canceled meeting.

Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre – Showtime for ’s “A Reunion to Die For” murder mystery dinner and show starts tonight at 6:30 p.m. They will have another performance Oct. 14. A three-course meal will be prepared and served by the students in Café LaBleu while you watch a murder mystery unfold on the school’s stage. Dinner and show cost $20. Synchronized Swimming Record – Local synchronized swimmers hope to break a Guinness World Record by attempting to in the shape of a pink ribbon. The float is an educational and fundraising event that benefits the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation and all weekend the swimmers will be highlighting the importance of breast and skin cancer prevention. The record attempt begins today at 8:30 a.m. at the Roseville Aquatics Center and runs through Sunday, Oct. 16. More information and the schedule are available .

Canceled Planning Commission – If you were planning to attend tonight’s Planning Commission meeting, you now have the night off – the meeting has been canceled. The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 27. For more information, contact Carmen Bertola at 916-774-5409.
