Donna Pucilowski: “I said this on the city's page. A fountain is not going to get me down town , I live down town but city sponsored events are not enough. Look at the ‘you know you are from Roseville page.’ People loved it when there was a theater downtown and the bowling alley, maybe a billiard hall with food and liquor, The places that are down town do not stay open late and even when there are city events they are closed. I know the two theaters are privately owned and have plays but that caters to a limited number of people. Look at downtown Fairfax a movie theater there keeps it moving with some eateries, turn one of them into a music venue like a mini Filmore or Fox theater there is enough parking. Easier access to old town and after a show people would hit the bars.”

Michelle Delvy Rand: “Would be great to see more stores open at night on the weekends. You drive on Vernon St. and it's like a ghost town. A place to grab a coffee after a movie, etc.”
