Rodriguez’s Tragic Honeymoon Story Featured on E!

The story of a local couple’s tragic June honeymoon has attracted national attention, including that of E! Entertainment Television. after her parasailing harness snapped mid-air in the Bahamas. It was the last day of her honeymoon with her husband of 12-days, Victor Rodriguez, who survived, but suffered serious internal injuries.

Their heartbreaking story struck a chord with many people – a , and other were held following the news.

On Wednesday, Sept. 14, “Fatal Honeymoons,” an E! TV special, premiered and featured the local couple. On the special investigation, Crystal was described as someone with the biggest smile and somewhat of a thrill seeker. Family and friends described the couple as a “perfect match.”

Victor’s mother, Jeanne Rodriquez, was interviewed for the special. She said it was hard to comprehend what happened on the last day of the honeymoon.

“I remember what came to my mind was ‘just one more day. Just one more day, they would be home. It was just one more day, they would be back in our life. Just one more day and it was just ended, so quickly,’” she said on the show.

According to the E! special, the investigation on the parasailing company in the Bahamas continues, but has been a “tight-lipped” investigation.
