In standardized testing, Quail Glen, Gates (Catheryn) and Stoneridge are the strongest elementary schools in Roseville - each in different subjects.

That’s according to new state figures released last week that show the Roseville schools scored highest among other Roseville schools during the 2010-11 California Standards Tests.

In English, students scored highest, with 83.7 percent reaching the "advanced or proficient" level. students came in next highest English scores at 81.5 percent.

In math, students are strongest, according to the results. A total of 89.4 percent of Gates (Catheryn) students scored advanced or proficient, followed by 88.1 percent at .

students scored highest in science, according to scores. At Stoneridge, 89 percent reached advanced or proficient, while 88.3 percent of students did at Quail Glen Elementary.
