This year, they’re prepared with longer strands and more lights.
LED lights are up to 90 percent more efficient than incandescent lights, according to information on the City of Roseville’s website. LED lights also last longer, as they’re harder to break and have a lifespan of about 35,000 hours. Another bonus: If one light goes out on a strand, the rest of the bulbs stay lit.
The Holiday Light Exchange will run until all of the LED lights have been swapped.
