A quick look into what's going on in Roseville today.

It’s the middle of the week and there are a few things going on (or canceled) in Roseville today including a cancelled city council meeting, a new store opening and auditions for a Halloween performance.
Canceled Council – You now have a free evening if you typically attend the Roseville City Council meetings – tonight’s meeting has been canceled. According to the city’s website, the meeting conflicts with the California League of Cities Annual Conference and the Northern California Power Agency meeting, which both are required to have council representation.
Crazy 8 – There’s a new kids shop on the block at the . Today, next to Le Petit Chateau. The shop sells fashionable outfits for girls and boys sizes 0 to 14.

Auditions – Now that your night is free (if you planned to attend the council meeting), let your theatrical side show by auditioning for ’s Halloween performance, “Nightmare on Vernon Street!” At 7 p.m. today, they are holding one-minute auditions welcoming solos, duets, bands, magic acts, stand-up comedy and dancing to the stage. Walk-ins are welcome at 241 Vernon St. The performance will be held Oct. 30. For more information, call Jennifer at 916-772-2777.
