Free Cupcakes – The early bird gets the … cupcake? Well, today at least. The first 10 people who come into Freshberry and Smallcakes in Roseville and say: “I love football” get a free cupcake. You can start your morning off with a sugar high because the store opens at 10 a.m. The shop is located at 2030 Douglas Blvd. Suite 16. Have a sweet Thursday!

Connect With the Council – Tonight, you can meet and mingle with some of the area’s leaders for a networking mixer hosted by Ignite Leaders. From 5:30-7:30 p.m., you can meet with people like Roseville Mayor Pauline Roccucci, Vice Mayor Susan Rohan and Councilwoman Carol Garcia. Peanut Butter Shortage – Would you ever eat a PB & J sans PB? Me neither. In my household, peanut butter is a staple – we eat it almost daily and by the spoonfuls. So when I saw a post on Moms Like Me about a possible shortage of peanut butter, I had to share with fellow peanut butter fans. According to the post, the shortage stems from a bad peanut crop.
