Farewell Farmers Market – Today is the last day to pick up farm-fresh produce at Mahany Park this year – the ends today. But there’s still time to stock up on local goods. The market runs from 8 a.m. to noon today at Mahany Park, 1545 Pleasant Grove Blvd.

Pool Party – Lay by the pool and sip cocktails for a cause today at the “Pink by the Pool” fundraiser benefiting the Placer Breast Cancer Endowment. The pool party will be held at the Thunder Valley Casino Resort Coconut Pool and Bar and guests can enjoy a cocktail reception and dinner by the pool with live Caribbean music. Tickets are $100 per person; seating is limited.
