It’s a big day for new beginnings in Roseville today. The Westfield Galleria at Roseville celebrates its grand re-opening and the 99-Cent Only Store will open its doors this morning.

Galleria Re-opening – Today, Oct. 6, less than one year after an arsonist set fire to the Westfield Galleria at Roseville, the to the public. They will unveil a new look, new shops and be handing out some free goodies. To see what’s in store for opening day, check out . A grand re-opening ceremony will be held at 9:30 a.m. today.

99-Cent Store Opening – Also at 1617 Douglas Blvd. in Roseville. Doors open at 8 a.m. and the first nine customers have a chance to purchase a 22-inch flat screen TV for 99 cents. Store deals will continue for the next few days.

Remembering Steve Jobs – Less than 24 hours ago, news broke out that Steve Jobs had died. Since then the news has been all over the TV, online and in newspapers. In a Huffington Post story on his 2005 Stanford University commencement address, they included the full text of his speech. Some of it really stood out as important life lessons. “Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. …have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary,” he said in the speech. You can read the full speech here.
