Kings Basketball Class – Fans will learn first-hand tips from some hoop coaches and players tonight at California Family Fitness. Sacramento Kings coaches, former players, referees and team broadcasters will talk strategy, scouting, officiating, broadcasting and more during the two-hour session. Basketball 101 will be held tonight from 6-8 p.m. at California Family Fitness, 5001 Foothills Blvd. in Roseville.

Ride the Bus – Today is the last day the City of Roseville’s summer youth bus passes are effective. Hop on that bus and see where it takes you! For more information, go to the city’s transit website here.

High-Speed Rail Has High Cost – A California Watch article reported that the California high-speed rail project linking San Francisco and Los Angeles could be costlier than first expected – about $24 billion more.
