Today in Roseville: Lincoln Tanker Blaze Continues, Evening Concert

It’s back to school for Roseville elementary students today and why not celebrate with a courtyard concert?

Back to School – For students in , it’s back to school time. As always with school in session, traffic can get heavy near the schools, so the put together some school safety tips for parents and students. Check out the city’s tips here.

Evening Concert – To celebrate the start of a new school year, why not head over to the for their Wednesday night concert? Tonight’s entertainment will be “Custom Neon,” a classic rock band. They will perform from 7-9 p.m. in the courtyard.

Lincoln Tanker Fire Continues – In nearby Lincoln, a rail fire of a 29,000-gallon tanker holding liquid propane continues today. Anyone within a 1-mile radius of the blaze, which occurred at Ninth and I streets in Lincoln, is ordered to evacuate. A portion of Highway 65 through Lincoln has been closed, according to KCRA.
