Today in Roseville: One-Act Plays, Circus Showtime

A quick look into what's going on in Roseville today.

Today, we devote all three mini-posts in Today in Roseville to what’s going on locally. If a cancelled Planning Commission meeting freed up your evening, we have two options for you tonight: A series of one-act plays at Oakmont High and Circus Vargas.

One-Act Plays – Tonight at the theater, watch as drama students perform "Alphabet Soup: An Evening of One Acts," which will feature various short plays on topics from A to Z. Showtime is at 7 p.m. today. Tickets cost $5 at the door.

Cancelled Meeting – Tonight’s Planning Commission meeting has been cancelled. That’s one thing you can mark off your busy calendar if you regularly attend. The next meeting is set for 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22 in the council chambers.

Circus Showtime – If you’ve been by the Westfield Galleria at Roseville within the last couple days, you’ve seen it: blue and yellow tents popping up in the parking lot. If you’re wondering what’s going on, ! Performances start at 7:30 p.m. today and continue at 8 p.m. Friday; 2 p.m., 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10; 1 p.m., 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11 and at 6 p.m. Monday, Sept 12.
