Week in Review, March 18: Galleria Blvd Shooting, Oakmont Drama Theft, More

Last week in Roseville, we had news that a theft from Oakmont High School left the school's spring musical in jeopardy. Roseville Crime Stoppers has also offered an award for information that leads to an arrest in the case.

Here's a look at what went on in Roseville last week:

— Librarians, music teachers and junior high sports may be cut from Eureka district schools. Eureka School Foundation President Warren Holt asks the community to donate in an effort to save programs.

— Our map shows where home break-ins have been reported in Roseville since March 1.

— Oakmont High School drama students are fighting to keep their spring musical after approximately $3,000 was stolen. Donations are being accepted to help save the musical.

— An Auburn man pleaded guilty to robbing two Chase Banks, one in Roseville and another in Davis, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.

— Have information regarding the burglary at Oakmont High School? You could receive $500 if your tip leads to an arrest. The spring musical is in jeopardy because of the theft.

— Linda Rooney will assume her role July 1. She is currently the deputy superintendent of educational services for the Rocklin Unified School District.

— Roseville Police are investigating a shooting that occurred at a gas station on Galleria Boulevard in Roseville around 8 p.m. March 17.
