The good news: Residents' tips led to multiple arrests recently and a local man is taste-testing all of the city's restaurants.
The bad news: We had two stories on fraud related to aircraft repairs and real estate, a gas leak led to a fire in the middle of a busy Roseville intersection and police have yet to find suspects in copper wire thefts at youth soccer fields that total $26,000.

- Adventure Christian School had the highest percentage of personal belief exemptions for kindergarteners among Roseville schools last year.
- Roseville Police made seven arrests within four days last week thanks to the help of alert citizens.

- Roseville Police reported a natural gas fire occurred at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. The intersection was temporarily closed to traffic.
- Sean Carter has started a blog chronicling his undertaking to eat at more than 200 restaurants in Roseville.
- The man allegedly solicited investors to purchase real estate and send money to an escrow service; investors transferred about $2.9 million into the escrow services fund.
- A Roseville resident and five other former WECO Aerospace Systems employees, have been charged with allegedly using non FAA-approved parts in aircraft repairs. There have been no known aircraft accidents linked to these fraudulent repairs.
- Recent copper thefts at Maidu Regional Park soccer fields will cost about $26K to repair and will take two to four weeks to repair. If you have information that leads to an arrest, you’ll get a monetary reward.
- There are about half a dozen retailers not re-opening at the mall following the October 2010 fire. The good news is there are about a dozen shops that will be new to the Westfield Galleria at Roseville.
- Roseville Police interviewed and released a man Friday who they initially suspected was trying to lure a child into a car near a Roseville school.
