Week in Review, Oct. 30: Earthquake, Bears, Ice Skating, More

Earthquakes, ice skating and bears, oh my! Last week we had an earthquake (some in Roseville felt it, others didn't), an ice rink is in set-up mode at the mall and bears were spotted recently. We also had some tragic news that the body of Brent Bell, who went missing, was found.

Here's a look at what went on in Roseville last week:

- The Roseville Police Department received a couple of calls on Saturday of bears roaming nearby.

- The body of Brent Bell, who went missing Oct. 16, was found Tuesday afternoon.

- Several Roseville residents and businesses have initiated fundraisers to help the Bell family.

- Down syndrome isn’t stopping Megan Harris from pursuing her hope of becoming Granite Bay High School’s homecoming queen.

- A 4.7 magnitude earthquake centered about 90 miles from Sacramento struck Wednesday night.

- Promenade On Ice opens Nov. 5 in Roseville with a grand opening celebration with Olympian Brian Boitano.

- Roseville Police are searching for two suspects involved in a home robbery that occurred on Glenbrook Avenue in Roseville Oct. 26.

- This Roseville location will be the only in Northern California.
