What's Planned for Downtown Roseville?

Lots of changes have come to downtown Roseville, and plenty more are planned.

"The plans are basically to bring more people and more business into downtown," Roseville Mayor Susan Rohan said on a Comcast Newsmakers show this week.

Rohan touted the recent openings of Sammy's Rockin' Island Bar & Grill and The Place, and said she hopes to see future developments include mixed-use projects.

"Roseville's been very creative to find ways to continue to do what people want to see in their downtown," she said, noting that plans for the downtown area are shaped by the 2009 Downtown Specific Plan.
