The city of Roseville is hiring.

At least four new positions have opened up with the city of Roseville. Job-seekers can apply to be a correctional officer in the city's jail, an energy services account representative, a utility meter reader or a recreational aide.
Here are the details, courtesy of the city's website:
Correctional Officer I/II: To perform duties related to the custody of City jail detainees awaiting court proceedings; and to perform related record keeping and maintenance/operational duties in a detention facility.

Salary: Correctional Officer I: $3,596 to $5,061 per month; Correctional Officer II: $3,944 to $5,550 per month
Energy Services Account Representative I/II: To perform professional analytical work in the development and implementation of energy efficiency, conservation, renewable energy, and demand-side resource management programs for residents and businesses within the City; to research, develop and implement marketing strategies designed to promote such programs and encourage new and continuing customer participation; and to receive and respond to customer questions related to such programs.

Salary: Energy Services Account Rep. I: $6,224 to $8,340 MONTHLY
Energy Services Account Rep. II: $6,846 to $9,175 MONTHLY
Meter Reader (part-time, temporary): To perform a variety of duties related to reading, collecting, and recording consumption use data from electric, water, and other consumption based meters and related devices; and to report meter equipment problems.
Salary: $18.18 - $25.58 Hourly
Recreation Aide (part-time, temporary): Under immediate direction, assists in planning recreation programs; maintains recreational facilities; assists in conducting recreation programs and activities; interacts with and assists supervision of youth in games and activities and in proper use of playground apparatus; maintains safety and positive behavior of participants; acts as a positive role model/mentor to youth; renders first aid in cases of minor injury; assists in supervision of facilities; performs miscellaneous tasks as directed.
Salary: $7.39 to $8.00 per hour
