Hooters Rival Closes Its Only CA Restaurant

The chain boasts wall-to-wall TVs, classic bar fare like burgers and wings, "the coldest beer in the business" and its "Twin Peaks Girls."

SACRAMENTO — Twin Peaks, the Hooters rival with an Alpine lodge theme, has closed its only California location.

The Sacramento restaurant at 535 Howe Ave. announced the closure Monday on social media.

“To our fans, we thank you for nearly 10 years of joining us for the ‘food, fun, cold beer & sports,’” the eatery said in an Instagram post. “It’s with a heavy heart that we must share that Twin Peaks Sacramento is now permanently closed.”
