Leaves Begin To Fall At Neighborhood Park: Photo Of The Day

Don't let the heat fool you — the seasons are starting to change.

SACRAMENTO, CA — The last day of August, when this photo was taken, was hot but Barandas Park is showing signs of summer fading into fall. According to the photographer, Claus Weisemann, "the light did not quite feel like summer anymore, with long shadows earlier now and the first leaves falling."
