Man Assaults Woman, Kidnaps, Immediately Releases Her Child: Report

SACRAMENTO, CA — Sacramento Police say a man assaulted a woman and kidnapped her child, running away approximately 50 yards before letting the child go in Old Sacramento Thursday evening, according to a report in The Sacramento Bee.
