Leatherby's Family Creamery robbed at Arden location while customers were inside (fox40.com) — A robber ripped the cash register from the counter at Leatherby’s Family Creamery’s Arden location while customers were inside, escaping with about $350 but causing much more damage. The longtime Sacramento-area favorite says community support has poured in since the incident, and Sacramento police are investigating and asking anyone with information to contact authorities.

Folsom's new police chief aims to foster a welcoming workplace (abc10.com) — Folsom’s new police chief, Adam Green, comes from the Sacramento Police Department and is taking over a nearly fully staffed force as the city continues to grow.
