1 Killed In Multi-Vehicle Crash On I-805 In South Bay

CHULA VISTA, CA — At least one person was killed in a multiple-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle on a highway in the South Bay area of San Diego County.
The crash was reported shortly after 8 p.m. Monday when a red Tesla, possibly two other vehicles and a motorcycle collided on southbound Interstate 805, near Telegraph Canyon Road in Chula Vista, according to the California Highway Patrol's incident log.
The left three lanes of southbound I-805 north of Telegraph Canyon Road were closed, according to Caltrans. A SigAlert was issued for the area.
