Police said they recovered a ghost gun, narcotics packaged for sale and stolen property upon the driver's arrest.

SAN DIEGO, CA — A burglary suspect was taken into custody early Sunday following a pursuit that ended with the recovery of a loaded illegal ghost gun, narcotics packaged for sale and stolen property tied to multiple commercial burglaries in Sorrento Valley, according to the San Diego Police Department.
Police said the arrest followed several weeks of investigative work by detectives, who used automated license plate recognition technology to identify a vehicle connected to a series of recent commercial burglaries in the area.
Officers on patrol in Sorrento Valley located the vehicle early Sunday morning and attempted a traffic stop, police said. Police said the driver failed to stop, crashed the vehicle and fled on foot. The suspect was later apprehended in the Carmel Valley area, authorities said.
