  1. It’s coming back to the Seaport Village for the 15th year. San Diego’s Annual Busker Festival will feature the extraordinary talents of street performers from around the world. There will be live music from local bands and spectacular acts from flame-throwing, knife juggling, tight-walking, acrobatics, magic and more. Come join the fun.   2. They are among the most severely rent burdened in San Diego. City Heights residents suffer with high rents and overcrowding. “There’s sometimes up to five families in one space,” Reyes Martinez said. “The rooms sometimes are doubled. Like you rent, but you know someone else is renting there.” The situation could be improved with more affordable housing and housing vouchers, along with assistance with down payments and security deposits.   3. There is a new luxury apartment complex with views of Balboa Park about to open in San Diego. Developer Greystar has begun pre-leasing the apartments at this 204-unit tower. The complex has a rooftop pool, sky club, fitness center, dog run and pet spa, EV charging station, and Zoom conference rooms.
